Daryl R. Kipke, PhD., Director, President/CEO  Dr. Kipke has proven leadership and management experience in neurotechnology.  He co-founded and helped to lead Neural Intervention Technologies, Inc. from a University of Michigan startup in 2001 to acquisition by W.L. Gore in 2006 resulting in significant returns to shareholders. Dr. Kipke is also a professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering in the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan with an internationally recognized research program in biomedical engineering focused on neural engineering, neural implants, neuroprostheses, and neural biomaterials. 

Jamille Hetke, Director, Director of Engineering  Ms. Hetke is the lead engineer of neural interface products. She has extensive experience in probe design, MEMS processing, and advanced packaging.  Ms. Hetke was chief designer of silicon probe research and development at the University of Michigan for 21 years.  She designed and realized more than 250 different acute and chronic probe designs while at Michigan. 

KC Kong, Director of Research Products, Mr. Kong manages NeuroNexus’ research products business and is responsible for technical sales and support.  Mr. Kong interfaces with NeuroNexus'  diverse customers -- neuroscientists and engineers -- that are distributed around the world.   He also leads efforts in new product development.  Mr. Kong has experience in product design and engineering, application needs, and quality control.  

Rio Vetter, PhD., Director of New Technologies.  Dr. Vetter leads the research and development of new technologies towards innovative, new products directed at clinical applications.   Dr. Vetter has worked on various aspects of neural interface technology, first in his doctoral research at Michigan and more recently in NeuroNexus R&D activities.  His expertise  bridges the gap between basic R&D of microscale technologies to focused product development for neuroscience research and clinical applications.
