ECoG and EEG Grids

NeuroNexus offers ultra-flexible EEG and ECoG arrays specifically designed to be placed on the surface of the mouse or rat skull or the brain. These surface grids provide high recording resolution and are meticulously designed to conform closely to the brain surface, ensuring optimal electrocorticography measurements. You can select from reticular grid layouts or functional layouts, which offer enhanced recording resolution over key cortical areas.

  • Flexible and durable – Fabricated with our polymer MEMS technology, our EEG and ECog probes easily conform to the skull and the brain surface. Use a drop of water to adhere the probe to the skull.
  • Stable – High-quality recordings have been obtained over months.
  • Optimized array designs – Select from a variety of surface array designs featuring different recording site placements, for different applications or animal models.
  • Versatile – Combine an ECoG array with a NeuroNexus penetrating array to establish concurrent surface and intracortical interfaces.

H-Series is a hybrid package introducing a flexible ribbon between the surface grid and connector PCB to allow flexible positioning of the connector on the head.

For EEG arrays, select a mouse or rat grid design and a connector package. We also have a down-sampled, 16-channel rat ‘functional’ EEG grid available.

ECoG arrays are available for a wide variety of applications, including combined applications with penetrating probes and Matrix Arrays™.
