Using high-density SiNAPS probes with the SiNAPS Interface Box, SmartBox Pro, and Allego (Radiens) software from NeuroNexus, researchers demonstrated that memory-related hippocampal sharp-wave ripples are spatially localized and narrowband events that can be reliably distinguished from broader, high-amplitude interictal epileptiform discharges in both mice and humans.
