Simplified multi-circuit recordings
Fabio Boi et al. with Luca Berdondini’s lab at Fondazione Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) presents SiNAPS 4-shank recordings during optogenetic stimulation. Large and repeatable coverage of the 1024-channel probe led to obtaining unexpected results across farther-reaching brain circuits. With the new technology, they were able to achieve a multi-target experiment with a single insertion.
