Auditory Neuroscience at Woods Hole: Exploring Inner Ear Biology
Sep 12, 2024
Every two years, the Woods Hole Summer School hosts the Biology of the Inner Ear course, where graduate students and postdocs engage in immersive learning about auditory neuroscience. Led by Dr. Peter Bremen, participants conduct hands-on in-vivo neurophysiology demonstrations with Mongolian gerbils, gaining practical experience in data collection and analysis. Supported by NeuroNexus, the course fosters collaboration between students and faculty, equipping the next generation of auditory scientists with essential skills for their research.
