Recording Electrodes
Passive recording electrodes across the full portfolio — from small-animal probes to high-density and surface arrays.
Electrical Stimulation Electrodes
Electrodes for intracranial electrical stimulation, including deep-brain-stimulation arrays.
Optical Stimulation
An optoelectrode is a probe package with an optical fiber fitted at assembly, so light reaches the tissue on the same trajectory as the recording sites — the neurons you record are the neurons you illuminate. It is a package build rather than a separate probe: choose the design for the target, then its optoelectrode package. Builds span the A-Series, CM, Hybrid, ZIF, Q-Trode, Vector, drug-delivery and Activus SiNAPS packages, from 4 to 1,024 channels, and the fiber terminates for a separate laser or LED source.
Drug-Delivery Probes
Microfluidic probes for combined recording and localized drug delivery.

What does "modality" mean here?
What the device does — record, stimulate electrically or optically, or deliver drugs. A single probe can support several at once.
Can one probe combine modalities?
Yes. An optoelectrode adds optical stimulation to recording; a drug-delivery probe adds a fluidic channel beside the sites; and drug-delivery optoelectrode packages carry both a fiber and a fluidic channel.
How do I order a probe as an optoelectrode?
Choose the probe design first, then select one of its optoelectrode packages as the package option — the fiber is fitted at assembly. The fiber configuration (core, cladding, numerical aperture, length) is confirmed on the quotation, so talk to an application scientist before ordering.
Do stimulation electrodes also record?
Many do. Deep-brain-stimulation arrays and optoelectrodes record while stimulating, on the same device.
Where do I compare configurations?
Each collection card opens the webstore filtered to that collection, with channel counts, site geometry, and options.
