MRI-Conditional Package

Hardware
An MRI-conditional package is a probe package built with non-magnetic parts, a non-magnetic connector and non-magnetic hardware, so that a probe can record inside an MRI scanner under stated conditions without distorting the field or heating; the electrode array is unchanged.

MRI-conditional builds exist inside the series they are variants of: MRA16 in the A-Series, MRCM16LP and MROCM32LP in the CM series, and MRH16, MRH32, MRHC32 and MRHC64 in the Hybrid series, from 16 to 64 channels, recording and stimulating. The connector is a non-magnetic MRI Omnetics 16- or 32-pin on the CM and Hybrid builds and DIP-16 pins on MRA16, so outside the scanner the package mates the same headstage as the standard build. Inside the bore the headstage, cable and data acquisition system are a separate question, answered per rig: the headstage and cable in the bore must be MRI-conditional themselves. The build is fixed at order; a standard package cannot be made MRI-conditional afterwards, and the MRI-conditional build records the same outside the scanner.
