X-Series Adapters
X-Series adapters are the connector adapters within the X-Series platform: EIB rails to X3 and X3SR headstages, EIB to M1P probe connectors, jumpers and extensions between X3, X3SR and X6 connectors, and the general X-Series connector adapter.
The EIB32 Rail joins an EIB-32 to an X3 or X3SR headstage, in left, right, combo and SR variants. The EIB-to-M1P adapter joins an EIB-16 or EIB-32 to M1P-16 or M1P-32 probe connectors. The Jumper and Extension set provides X3, X3SR and X6 extensions, an X3-to-X6 jumper and a 16-channel NeuroNexus-to-X3 jumper. The X-Series connector adapter is the general transition: it takes DIP-16, Omnetics 12, 16, 32 and 64, Samtec 40, HDMI, micro-HDMI, X3 and X3SR inputs and outputs to X3, X3SR, Omnetics 12 and 16, M1P and HDMI, so a package on a conventional connector reaches an X-Series headstage and XDAQ.
As with every remap adapter, the site-to-channel map on the headstage side differs from the package drawing; confirm it against a known signal before the first recording. Rail and jumper adapters are sold in packs of 1 to 50 because they sit at the headstage connection, where mating force is highest and a damaged part stops a session; chronic cohorts use them as consumables.
