Omnetics, DIP-16, Samtec 40, ZIF and CQ4 package connectors to headstage inputs
A connector-pair adapter joins a probe package to a headstage or acquisition system the package was not terminated for. Choose the input connector (the package side) and the output connector (the headstage or system side); the 78 pairings cover Omnetics 16, 32 and 64, A16 (DIP-16), A32 (Samtec 40), A64 (2× Samtec 40), ZIF 16, 32 and 64 (Hirose), CQ4 and Q4 edge, QIB and 8-pin Omnetics on the package side, and Omnetics, A-series, ZIF, Mill-Max, Intan RHD evaluation, Blackrock Cerebus, A-M Systems, BrainAmp, Plexon and SmartLink on the system side. Configurations include 2× and 4× outputs, breakout, female–female and MRI-conditional builds.
A remap adapter changes which pin carries which channel. Confirm the site-to-channel map through the adapter against a known signal before the first recording; NeuroNexus has wiring guides for several pairings; ask for yours when you order.
