Activus SiNAPS Hybrid with 30mm Cable
Headstage-free recording, digitized on the probe
Activus SiNAPS Hybrid with 30mm Cable carries 256 channels to a Samtec 50-pin connector, over a thin-film cable to a PCB carrying the connector, in a 3D-printed polymer case, with no headstage in the recording chain.
An Activus SiNAPS package mounts a SiNAPS active-pixel probe on a PCB and terminates in a 50-pin Samtec connector for the SiNAPS ribbon cable; the probe digitizes on the shank, so there is no headstage, and the package connects through the SiNAPS interface box to the Smartbox at 256 or 1,024 channels.
Recording only: the SiNAPS probe does not electrically stimulate. Runs on the SiNAPS System Kit; there is no SiNAPS headstage or adapter. Mates with a Samtec 50-pin on the headstage side. Available as a fully assembled probe assembly.
