Digitized at the head, with the electronics in the package rather than on the shank
AVH128 carries 128 channels to a Micro HDMI connector, over a 27.85 mm thin-film cable to a PCB carrying the connector, in a 3D-printed polymer case.
An Activus package integrates the digitizing headstage chip into the probe package: the silicon probe is passive and an Intan RHD chip on the package amplifies, filters and digitizes every site, so no separate headstage is mounted and the cable out of the package is digital.
The probe stays passive; a discrete headstage chip in the assembly digitizes at the head. Cable length 27.85 mm; other lengths available. Mates with a Micro HDMI on the headstage side. Available as a fully assembled probe assembly.
