Linear 4-Shank 32-Channel Probe, 10 mm
Silicon 3D probe platform — several 32-site 2D arrays, 64 to 256 channels, recording and stimulating

Four long shanks side by side, closely spaced for coverage within one structure, with sites spread evenly down each, one per row, for a profile across depth. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it is mid-range: 32 sites (a common choice — 155 of 369), 10 mm shanks (a common choice — 79 of 363), a 0.71 mm-deep site array (37th percentile), 73 sites/mm² (29th percentile) and a 0.68 mm³ neural interface (53rd percentile).
Small sites read a local patch at higher impedance, sharpening single-unit isolation, spaced for a laminar profile. The long shanks reach deep targets.
Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 19 package configurations, 2 of them microdrive-compatible. Built for the Matrix Array platform: this 2D array installs in a Matrix package slot and is not assembled in other packages. Silicon 50 µm thick. Z-coat available. Research use only.
