Nerve-Cuff 16-Channel Array
Pre-curved polyimide that wraps rather than penetrates — diameter fixed at fabrication
A thin polyimide film pre-curved to wrap a peripheral nerve from the outside, carrying its recording sites in the film itself, on a long cable for routing to the connector. Among the 56 grid designs in the design space it is in the upper quartile: 16 sites (a common choice — 8 of 55), a 9.5 mm site-array span (79th percentile), 0.16 sites/mm² (11th percentile) and a 55 mm³ neural interface (79th percentile).
Orders as a grid-plus-package assembly, in 6 package configurations, 3 of them microdrive-compatible. Polyimide 12 µm thick. 228 mm cable. Research use only.
