Single-Shank 16-Channel Probe

Stainless-steel fluidic channel beside the array — infuse and record at one site

A single shank. Among the 56 probe designs in the design space it sits at the bottom: 16 sites (a common choice — 84 of 369), a 0.39 mm-deep site array (5th percentile), 2,735 sites/mm² (100th percentile) and a 0.23 mm³ neural interface (4th percentile).

Small sites read a local patch at higher impedance, sharpening single-unit isolation, packed densely enough to track a unit across neighbouring sites.

Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 3 package configurations. Polyimide 15 µm thick. Optical stimulation runs from a separate laser or LED source. Research use only.
