Linear Single-Shank 4-Channel Probe, 10 mm

Four sites clustered at one depth — isolation by amplitude ratio, not a depth profile

NeuroNexus Q1x4 10mm 100 703 probe

A single long shank with sites spread evenly down the shank, one per row, for a profile across depth. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it is in the lower quartile: 4 sites (5th percentile), 10 mm shanks (a common choice — 79 of 363), a 0.33 mm-deep site array (19th percentile), 409 sites/mm² (62nd percentile) and a 0.22 mm³ neural interface (5th percentile).

Large sites read a wider patch at lower impedance, suited to field potentials and multi-unit activity, spaced for a laminar profile. The long shank reaches deep targets.

Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 11 package configurations. Silicon 50 µm thick. Z-coat available. Optical stimulation runs from a separate laser or LED source. Research use only.
