Linear Single-Shank 4-Channel Probe, 10 mm
Four sites clustered at one depth — isolation by amplitude ratio, not a depth profile

A single long shank with sites spread evenly down the shank, one per row, for a profile across depth. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it is in the lower quartile: 4 sites (5th percentile), 10 mm shanks (a common choice — 79 of 363), a 0.61 mm-deep site array (32nd percentile), 439 sites/mm² (64th percentile) and a 0.29 mm³ neural interface (10th percentile).
Small sites read a local patch at higher impedance, sharpening single-unit isolation, spaced widely to span a structure rather than resolve within it. The long shank reaches deep targets.
Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 15 package configurations. Silicon 50 µm thick. Z-coat available. Optical stimulation runs from a separate laser or LED source. Research use only.
