Vector Single-Shank 16-Channel Probe, 15 mm

Short silicon array on a rigid support body — deep targets in large animals

NeuroNexus V1x16 Edge 15mm 50 177 probe

A single long shank with sites along the shank's edge, closest to the tissue the probe faces. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it is mid-range: 16 sites (a common choice — 84 of 369), 15 mm shanks (97th percentile of the 366 measured), a 0.77 mm-deep site array (44th percentile), 1,743 sites/mm² (94th percentile) and a 0.32 mm³ neural interface (14th percentile).

Small sites read a local patch at higher impedance, sharpening single-unit isolation, spaced for a laminar profile. The long shank reaches deep targets.

Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 4 package configurations, 1 of them microdrive-compatible. Silicon 50 µm thick. Z-coat available. Research use only.
