Vector Single-Shank 32-Channel Probe, 10 mm

Short silicon array on a rigid support body — deep targets in large animals

NeuroNexus V1x32 Edge 10mm 100 177 probe

A single long shank with sites along the shank's edge, closest to the tissue the probe faces. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it is in the upper quartile: 32 sites (a common choice — 155 of 369), 10 mm shanks (a common choice — 79 of 363), a 3.12 mm-deep site array (89th percentile), 856 sites/mm² (82nd percentile) and a 0.93 mm³ neural interface (66th percentile).

Small sites read a local patch at higher impedance, sharpening single-unit isolation, spaced for a laminar profile. The long shank reaches deep targets.

Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 13 package configurations, 3 of them microdrive-compatible. Silicon 50 µm thick. Z-coat available. Optical stimulation runs from a separate laser or LED source. Research use only.
