Vector Single-Shank 32-Channel Probe, 10 mm

Short silicon array on a rigid support body — deep targets in large animals

A single long shank with sites along the shank's edge, closest to the tissue the probe faces. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it is in the upper quartile: 32 sites (a common choice — 155 of 369), 10 mm shanks (a common choice — 79 of 363), a 6.22 mm-deep site array (97th percentile), 312 sites/mm² (56th percentile) and a 1.74 mm³ neural interface (87th percentile).

spaced widely to span a structure rather than resolve within it. The long shank reaches deep targets.

Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 2 package configurations. Silicon 15 or 50 µm thick. Z-coat available. Research use only.
