Vector Single-Shank 64-Channel Probe, 12 mm

Short silicon array on a rigid support body — deep targets in large animals

A single long shank with sites along the shank's edge, closest to the tissue the probe faces. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it sits at the top: 64 sites (a common choice — 68 of 369), 12 mm shanks (93rd percentile of the 366 measured), a 6.32 mm-deep site array (98th percentile), 845 sites/mm² (81st percentile) and a 1.74 mm³ neural interface (87th percentile).

Small sites read a local patch at higher impedance, sharpening single-unit isolation, spaced for a laminar profile. The long shank reaches deep targets.

Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 1 package configuration. Silicon 15 or 50 µm thick. Z-coat available. Research use only.
