Linear Single-Shank 32-Channel Probe, 10 mm

Sites spread along the shank — linear and edge layouts for depth profiling

A single long shank with sites spread evenly down the shank, one per row, for a profile across depth. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it is in the upper quartile: 32 sites (a common choice — 155 of 369), 10 mm shanks (a common choice — 79 of 363), a 5.12 mm-deep site array (96th percentile), 274 sites/mm² (54th percentile) and a 1.47 mm³ neural interface (83rd percentile).

Large sites read a wider patch at lower impedance, suited to field potentials and multi-unit activity, spaced for a laminar profile. The long shank reaches deep targets.

Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 3 package configurations. Silicon 15 µm thick. Z-coat available. Research use only.
