Edge Single-Shank 32-Channel Probe, 10 mm

Sites spread along the shank — linear and edge layouts for depth profiling

A single long shank with sites along the shank's edge, closest to the tissue the probe faces. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it is mid-range: 32 sites (a common choice — 155 of 369), 10 mm shanks (a common choice — 79 of 363), a 1.25 mm-deep site array (59th percentile), 2,125 sites/mm² (96th percentile) and a 0.45 mm³ neural interface (27th percentile).

Small sites read a local patch at higher impedance, sharpening single-unit isolation, spaced for a laminar profile. The long shank reaches deep targets.

Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 5 package configurations. Silicon 15 µm thick. Z-coat available. Research use only.
