Linear 2-Shank 32-Channel Probe, 10 mm
Sites spread along the shank — linear and edge layouts for depth profiling
Two long shanks side by side, with sites spread evenly down each, one per row, for a profile across depth. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it is in the upper quartile: 32 sites (a common choice — 155 of 369), 10 mm shanks (a common choice — 79 of 363), a 2.26 mm-deep site array (83rd percentile), 27 sites/mm² (8th percentile) and a 1.4 mm³ neural interface (82nd percentile).
Small sites read a local patch at higher impedance, sharpening single-unit isolation, spaced widely to span a structure rather than resolve within it. The long shanks reach deep targets.
Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 3 package configurations. Silicon 15 or 50 µm thick. Z-coat available. Research use only.
