Linear 2-Shank 32-Channel Probe, 10 mm
Sites spread along the shank — linear and edge layouts for depth profiling

Two long shanks side by side, spread for lateral coverage across columns, with sites spread evenly down each, one per row, for a profile across depth. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it is mid-range: 32 sites (a common choice — 155 of 369), 10 mm shanks (a common choice — 79 of 363), a 0.78 mm-deep site array (47th percentile), 77 sites/mm² (30th percentile) and a 0.66 mm³ neural interface (52nd percentile).
Large sites read a wider patch at lower impedance, suited to field potentials and multi-unit activity, spaced for a laminar profile. The long shanks reach deep targets.
Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 24 package configurations, 2 of them microdrive-compatible. Silicon 15 or 50 µm thick. Z-coat available. Optical stimulation runs from a separate laser or LED source. Research use only.
