Linear 2-Shank 32-Channel Probe, 3 mm

Sites spread along the shank — linear and edge layouts for depth profiling

A2x16-3mm65-500-177 wireframe schematic

Two short shanks side by side, with sites spread evenly down each, one per row, for a profile across depth. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it is mid-range: 32 sites (a common choice — 155 of 369), 3 mm shanks (a common choice — 37 of 363), a 0.99 mm-deep site array (53rd percentile), 63 sites/mm² (24th percentile) and a 0.76 mm³ neural interface (61st percentile).

Small sites read a local patch at higher impedance, sharpening single-unit isolation, spaced for a laminar profile. The short shanks suit superficial targets.

Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 9 package configurations. Silicon 15 µm thick. Z-coat available. Optical stimulation runs from a separate laser or LED source. Research use only.
