Linear 2-Shank 32-Channel Probe, 5.3 mm
Sites spread along the shank — linear and edge layouts for depth profiling

Two mid-length shanks side by side, with sites spread evenly down each, one per row, for a profile across depth. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it is mid-range: 32 sites (a common choice — 155 of 369), 5.3 mm shanks (52nd percentile of the 366 measured), a 0.76 mm-deep site array (43rd percentile), 28 sites/mm² (9th percentile) and a 1.27 mm³ neural interface (80th percentile).
Small sites read a local patch at higher impedance, sharpening single-unit isolation, spaced for a laminar profile. The mid-length shanks reach structures a few millimetres down.
Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 2 package configurations. Silicon 15 µm thick. Z-coat available. Research use only.
