Linear 2-Shank 64-Channel Probe, 5 mm
Sites spread along the shank — linear and edge layouts for depth profiling

Two mid-length shanks side by side, closely spaced for coverage within one structure, with sites spread evenly down each, one per row, for a profile across depth. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it is in the upper quartile: 64 sites (a common choice — 68 of 369), 5 mm shanks (a common choice — 107 of 363), a 3.11 mm-deep site array (88th percentile), 96 sites/mm² (34th percentile) and a 1.29 mm³ neural interface (81st percentile).
Small sites read a local patch at higher impedance, sharpening single-unit isolation, spaced for a laminar profile. The mid-length shanks reach structures a few millimetres down.
Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 22 package configurations, 3 of them microdrive-compatible. Silicon 15 µm thick. Z-coat available. Optical stimulation runs from a separate laser or LED source. Research use only.
