Linear 2-Shank 64-Channel Probe, 6 mm

Sites spread along the shank — linear and edge layouts for depth profiling

NeuroNexus A2x32 6mm 70 200 177 probe

Two mid-length shanks side by side, closely spaced for coverage within one structure, with sites spread evenly down each, one per row, for a profile across depth. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it is mid-range: 64 sites (a common choice — 68 of 369), 6 mm shanks (60th percentile of the 366 measured), a 2.18 mm-deep site array (82nd percentile), 136 sites/mm² (40th percentile) and a 0.96 mm³ neural interface (70th percentile).

Small sites read a local patch at higher impedance, sharpening single-unit isolation, spaced for a laminar profile. The mid-length shanks reach structures a few millimetres down.

Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 22 package configurations, 4 of them microdrive-compatible. Silicon 50 µm thick. Z-coat available. Optical stimulation runs from a separate laser or LED source. Research use only.
