Linear 4-Shank 64-Channel Probe, 10 mm

Sites spread along the shank — linear and edge layouts for depth profiling

Four long shanks side by side, closely spaced for coverage within one structure, with sites spread evenly down each, one per row, for a profile across depth. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it is mid-range: 64 sites (a common choice — 68 of 369), 10 mm shanks (a common choice — 79 of 363), a 0.77 mm-deep site array (44th percentile), 136 sites/mm² (39th percentile) and a 0.71 mm³ neural interface (58th percentile).

Small sites read a local patch at higher impedance, sharpening single-unit isolation, spaced for a laminar profile. The long shanks reach deep targets.

Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 1 package configuration. Silicon 15 or 50 µm thick. Z-coat available. Research use only.
