Linear 4-Shank 64-Channel Probe, 8.4 mm

Sites spread along the shank — linear and edge layouts for depth profiling

A4x16-3-6-3mm50-430-177 wireframe schematic

Four long shanks side by side, with sites spread evenly down each, one per row, for a profile across depth. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it is mid-range: 64 sites (a common choice — 68 of 369), 8.4 mm shanks (67th percentile of the 366 measured), a 1.36 mm-deep site array (60th percentile), 36 sites/mm² (13th percentile) and a 1.68 mm³ neural interface (86th percentile).

Small sites read a local patch at higher impedance, sharpening single-unit isolation, spaced for a laminar profile. The long shanks reach deep targets.

Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 5 package configurations. Silicon 15 µm thick. Z-coat available. Research use only.
