Linear 4-Shank 64-Channel Probe, 5 mm

Sites spread along the shank — linear and edge layouts for depth profiling

A4x16-5mm-100-200-177 wireframe schematic

Four mid-length shanks side by side, with sites spread evenly down each, one per row, for a profile across depth. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it is mid-range: 64 sites (a common choice — 68 of 369), 5 mm shanks (a common choice — 107 of 363), a 1.51 mm-deep site array (69th percentile), 69 sites/mm² (26th percentile) and a 1.12 mm³ neural interface (76th percentile).

Small sites read a local patch at higher impedance, sharpening single-unit isolation, spaced for a laminar profile. The mid-length shanks reach structures a few millimetres down.

Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 7 package configurations. Silicon 15 µm thick. Z-coat available. Research use only.
