Linear 4-Shank 64-Channel Probe, 6 mm

Sites spread along the shank — linear and edge layouts for depth profiling

A4x16-6mm50-200-177 wireframe schematic

Four mid-length shanks side by side, with sites spread evenly down each, one per row, for a profile across depth. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it is mid-range: 64 sites (a common choice — 68 of 369), 6 mm shanks (60th percentile of the 366 measured), a 0.76 mm-deep site array (43rd percentile), 136 sites/mm² (39th percentile) and a 0.71 mm³ neural interface (57th percentile).

Small sites read a local patch at higher impedance, sharpening single-unit isolation, spaced for a laminar profile. The mid-length shanks reach structures a few millimetres down.

Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 5 package configurations, 1 of them microdrive-compatible. Silicon 15 µm thick. Z-coat available. Research use only.
