Linear 4-Shank 128-Channel Probe, 12 mm
Sites spread along the shank — linear and edge layouts for depth profiling

Four long shanks side by side, spread for lateral coverage across columns, with sites spread evenly down each, one per row, for a profile across depth. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it sits at the top: 128 sites (96th percentile), 12 mm shanks (93rd percentile of the 366 measured), a 3.11 mm-deep site array (87th percentile), 45 sites/mm² (18th percentile) and a 2.56 mm³ neural interface (94th percentile).
Small sites read a local patch at higher impedance, sharpening single-unit isolation, spaced for a laminar profile. The long shanks reach deep targets.
Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 14 package configurations, 3 of them microdrive-compatible. Silicon 50 µm thick. Z-coat available. Optical stimulation runs from a separate laser or LED source. Research use only.
