ECoG 16-Channel Grid
Polyimide substrate that follows the cortical surface — epidural or subdural, 4 to 256 sites

A thin polyimide film that lies on the cortical surface and follows its curvature and movement, carrying mid-sized sites that trade local detail for signal, on a short cable for a compact head end. Among the 56 grid designs in the design space it is mid-range: 16 sites (a common choice — 8 of 55), a 3.3 mm site-array span (39th percentile), 0.77 sites/mm² (43rd percentile) and a 13 mm³ neural interface (48th percentile).
Orders as a grid-plus-package assembly, in 5 package configurations, 3 of them microdrive-compatible. Polyimide 12 µm thick. 10 mm cable. Research use only.
