ECoG 16-Channel Grid
Polyimide substrate that follows the cortical surface — epidural or subdural, 4 to 256 sites
A thin polyimide film that lies on the cortical surface and follows its curvature and movement, carrying its recording sites in the film itself. Among the 56 grid designs in the design space it is in the lower quartile: 16 sites (a common choice — 8 of 55), a 1.62 mm site-array span (18th percentile), 5.79 sites/mm² (75th percentile) and a 2.34 mm³ neural interface (16th percentile).
Orders as a grid-plus-package assembly, in 4 package configurations, 3 of them microdrive-compatible. Polyimide 12 µm thick. Research use only.
