ECoG 16-Channel Grid

Polyimide substrate that follows the cortical surface — epidural or subdural, 4 to 256 sites

NeuroNexus E16 500 Cl5 50 probe

A thin polyimide film that lies on the cortical surface and follows its curvature and movement, carrying small sites that read a local patch at high impedance, on a short cable for a compact head end. Among the 56 grid designs in the design space it is in the lower quartile: 16 sites (a common choice — 8 of 55), a 1.55 mm site-array span (16th percentile), 6.66 sites/mm² (77th percentile) and a 2.1 mm³ neural interface (14th percentile).

Orders as a grid-plus-package assembly, in 5 package configurations, 3 of them microdrive-compatible. Polyimide 12 µm thick. 5 mm cable. Research use only.
