ECoG 9-Channel Grid

Polyimide substrate that follows the cortical surface — epidural or subdural, 4 to 256 sites

A thin polyimide film that lies on the cortical surface and follows its curvature and movement, carrying its recording sites in the film itself. Among the 56 grid designs in the design space it is mid-range: 9 sites (7th percentile), a 9.1 mm site-array span (71st percentile), 1.43 sites/mm² (57th percentile) and a 5.72 mm³ neural interface (29th percentile).

Orders as a grid-plus-package assembly, in 14 package configurations, 3 of them microdrive-compatible. Polyimide 12 µm thick. Research use only.
