Tetrode/Linear 3-Shank 64-Channel Probe, 12 mm
Parallel shanks at a pitch fixed in fabrication — the same layer across several columns

Three long shanks side by side, spread for lateral coverage across columns, with tetrode groups along a linear run, isolation at set depths with a profile between. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it sits at the top: 64 sites (a common choice — 68 of 369), 12 mm shanks (93rd percentile of the 366 measured), a 4.06 mm-deep site array (95th percentile), 19 sites/mm² (7th percentile) and a 3.01 mm³ neural interface (95th percentile).
Small sites read a local patch at higher impedance, sharpening single-unit isolation, packed densely enough to track a unit across neighbouring sites. The long shanks reach deep targets.
Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 22 package configurations, 4 of them microdrive-compatible. Silicon 50 µm thick. Z-coat available. Optical stimulation runs from a separate laser or LED source. Research use only.
