Tetrode/Linear Single-Shank 64-Channel Probe

Parallel shanks at a pitch fixed in fabrication — the same layer across several columns

A single shank with tetrode groups along a linear run, isolation at set depths with a profile between. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it is mid-range: 64 sites (a common choice — 68 of 369), a 1.09 mm-deep site array (56th percentile), 58 sites/mm² (22nd percentile) and a 1.2 mm³ neural interface (78th percentile).

packed densely enough to track a unit across neighbouring sites.

Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 3 package configurations. Silicon 15 or 50 µm thick. Z-coat available. Research use only.
