Linear Single-Shank 32-Channel Probe

Parallel shanks at a pitch fixed in fabrication — the same layer across several columns

A single shank with sites spread evenly down the shank, one per row, for a profile across depth. Among the 371 probe designs in the design space it is mid-range: 32 sites (a common choice — 155 of 369), a 1.07 mm-deep site array (55th percentile), 75 sites/mm² (30th percentile) and a 0.7 mm³ neural interface (57th percentile).

packed densely enough to track a unit across neighbouring sites.

Orders as a probe-plus-package assembly, in 1 package configuration. Silicon 15 µm thick. Z-coat available. Research use only.
