Recorded from outside the skull, no craniotomy — resolution traded for a preparation that lasts months
A thin polyimide film that sits on the outside of the skull, with no bone removed and no dura opened, carrying large sites that average a broad patch at low impedance. Among the 56 grid designs in the design space it is mid-range: 14 sites (11th percentile), a 6.5 mm site-array span (55th percentile), 0.19 sites/mm² (16th percentile) and a 41 mm³ neural interface (70th percentile).
Orders as a grid-plus-package assembly, in 6 package configurations, 3 of them microdrive-compatible. Polyimide 12 µm thick. Research use only.
